Friends of Magdalene.org make donations that are contributed to the ongoing work by Magdalene.org to research and gather centuries' worth of material related to Mary Magdalene. Research library memberships are expensive, as are university interlibrary loan requests and article photocopying. Some resources are out of print entirely and are extremely difficult to locate and access. Your financial support can help this ongoing effort and bring Encyclopedia Magdalena to life for the online community a little faster.

In return, you will be subscribed to an exclusive announcement email list where you can be the first to learn of new encyclopedia entries and hear about little known Mary Magdalene resources. All of this data will eventually go online, but that is a time consuming process; you can hear about Magdalene.org's progress --and learn more about Mary Magdalene-- as work occurs.

In addition to the exclusive announcement email list, your name will be listed on the Friends of Magdalene.org page (unless you tell us you would like to remain anonymous), to let the world know that you value the work we're doing here.

The final benefit can't really be quantified. You'll know that you are contributing to a world-class presentation of research and scholarship never before undertaken. Although more and more books about Mary Magdalene are being published all the time, many really only scratch the surface of an almost 2000 year legacy. Because online publishing doesn't require the same level of physical resources as traditional book publishing (paper, ink, distribution, shelf space, etc.), Magdalene.org has the freedom to eventually present a much higher volume of in-depth information than you will find in popular books, in a much more easy-to-access format than academic books. Plus, books aren't searchable!
